Important to Note: Vylette gives every impression of being a socialite and professional, albeit one who sees fit to mingle with those of all stations. She befriends people from all walks of life and has a way of adapting to make those around her comfortable and at ease. She typically presents a calm and collected set of mannerisms. Her actions seem to reflect high society and/or nobility, though she claims no noble birth or connection. She is kind, helpful and extremely polite in nearly all instances. She does have a playful or mischievous streak and while she respects more rigid or serious characters, she seems to enjoy teasing or engaging in playful banter. While she is polite, she seems to be unafraid of using words to cut someone down to size if they step out of line and will become rather sassy as the situation dictates. Recently, her snark and sarcastic streak has shown itself more and more, though often she uses this as humor to disperse tensions. Additionally in times of great stress or annoyance she has been seen to lose her temper. Rare though this is, it marks a dynamic shift in mannerism.
About Vylette
Vylette is not physically imposing, and to most would appear almost helpless, belied only by her piercing blue eyes and manner in which she carries herself. She is petite in stature and figure, bearing the ears, eyes and tail common to her people. Her skin appears fair and flawless with no scars or blemishes that can be seen.Most of Vylette's background and history remains a mystery prior to her sudden arrival in Ul'dah nearly five years ago. She was at the time a seemingly well educated young musician with some background in medicine, dating a wealthy businessman in Ul'dah with connections to the jewelry and goldsmithing trade. She was well dressed and lived comfortably but it is unclear if it was due to this man or her own funds. Within a few moons of arrival the couple separated and several moons later she was seen in the company of a blue-haired Seeker Miqo'te woman said to be her mate. Due to unknown circumstances the pair split just prior to their ceremony of bonding and the seeker has not been seen since. Some time later, she had been keeping company with a raen woman named Mai and sources indicated the couple married.Vylette claims her childhood home to be in the south Shroud, though she has mentioned “traveling," "field study" and other vague references. Her family history is likewise unknown, though she has made public claims about being trained as a priestess and little else. Her current family history or status is unknown.Currently she maintains a beachfront mansion in the Mists, and an apartment in the Goblet, but travels as part of her career and to fuel her social engagements. In recent years, she has dedicated much of her focus to her work in medicine. While few seem to have been aware of this aspect of her, and she maintains only a small official medical practice, she has shown herself to be quite skilled and been on call to help those in need in various situations. Typically she focused her energies in a counseling and mental health role, with her knowledge of the treatment of physical body ailments applied sparingly and only in emergencies, but over the past several years her confidence in her abilities and desire to help others has grown.She is a known performer, presently on hiatus, but having played regularly at Shroudrose Tea House, The Still & Strings, The Lanternlight and previously at Demon's Dance Floor, Epoch Tavern, Wanderer's Elysium and Sanguine Shadow. She also had performed at various open engagements throughout the Mists, Goblet and Lavender Beds and owns her own venue in the Mists, called The Crimson Lily.Note - Most of the history is left vague intentionally. I prefer details to be explored and learned through roleplaying. Also, keeping them scarce prevents metagaming. Clothing Style: Tends to dress well. Usually dresses, high society and/or high fashion. For less formal affairs or nightclubs she is generally still seen in skirts or party dresses. She will wear more relaxed clothing when the situation calls for it, though any type of protective clothing seems rare.
Armor: Rarely worn but seems to favor leather.

Medical Practitioner – "Please state the nature of the medical emergency." In recent years, Vylette's medical knowledge has been put to the test as she rubs elbows with mercenaries, bodyguards, and other folk with the penchant for being in combat situations or otherwise being inflicted with sudden, often life threatening, injury. She has taken this change in life circumstance as a challenge, and increased her knowledge and study to compensate. Previously known as a counselor, she maintains a good balance of treatment focusing not only on the physical ailments, but also the patient's underlying mental state and the ramifications it can have on the "whole self." Do you need treatment?
Technology Aficionado – Vylette has come a very long way in the past few years in her acceptance and understanding of magitek and other technology. Previously being known for her attitude of "I do not know how it works, it just does" towards her motorcycle and other similar devices, she had been forced to learn out of necessity in order to maintain her prized and extremely expensive vehicle. As she learned more she found her interest growing in possible applications for treating the injured those who have lost limbs to catastrophic injuries. She is by no means an expert, but rather she is always seeking new avenues of discussion and learning, perhaps even a mentor. Are you up to the challenge?
Performer – Vylette is a famous performer though currently on hiatus. She plays many instruments, sings and dances and has been featured in a number of venues including the Demon’s Dance Floor, Epoch Tavern, Sanguine Shadow, Shroudrose Teahouse, and Wanderer’s Elysium. I am US based in EST. I typically am most active evenings or late nights, with other availability as work schedules dictate.
I generally prefer contact in game at least until I establish some rapport or level of comfort. After that I am open to Discord conversation as well.
I am an organic roleplayer I enjoy exploring in game and do not like to set up unrealistic scenes and one offs. I prefer to meet up naturally. While scenes and themes can and should be discussed prior and general times and such can be established, I like a natural flow.
OOC and IC are not the same, nor should they ever be treated as such. Anything my character says or does will not always reflect me as the player. I ask that all that I RP with keep this in mind and know how to keep the two separate.
I will play mature content and dark themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Walk-up encounters where appropriate. If there are any questions or clarifications they can be discussed and a general mutual understanding reached beforehand.

All actions are attempts If you want to hug, kiss, stab, shoot or otherwise perform any action that affects my character it is an attempt. I will afford the same courtesy to those I RP with. Every character has the ability to resist attempts provided it makes sense and is done in a natural way (IE - you can try to stab my character it does not mean you succeed, you can try to kiss my character but she can move her head and not allow it). God modding is bad.
I won't play Rape (It can be a theme or discussed but I will not participate in any way with playing this out) , permanent character death, wildly uncomfortable or lore breaking scenes.
I will play dark themes as long as they are discussed and a general mutual understanding is reached beforehand.
